Prospectus

Pound Hill Infant Academy is a large infant academy with 270 pupils, aged 4-7 years old, located in the heart of Crawley, West Sussex.

We are extremely proud of our welcoming academy where we strive to ensure that all our pupils reach their potential.

We treat every child as an individual and provide a happy, engaging and thriving environment where children succeed. We offer learning experiences which prepare our children for an ever-changing world, balancing the teaching of knowledge and skills.

All our children are expected to be responsible members of their community, demonstrating respect for others, and embracing the unique qualities, values and traditions that make our academy an exciting place to be.

Our Teaching and Learning

Through our curriculum, we provide opportunities for children to think and behave creatively, solve problems, respond positively to challenges, manage risk and cope with change.

We set out to develop happy, confident learners in a variety of ways. All our children benefit from:

  • A curriculum based on the needs of our learners which includes giving the children high aspirations.
  • A curriculum with personal, social, emotional development and citizenship at the heart.
